Abs are made in the kitchen - not the gym. I lift 3X a week. I also jog steps for cardio. The more muscle you have, the more calories you'll burn - this is true - but I force myself to do cardio (interval training) to rev my metabolism. But as mentioned, abs are made in the kitchen. I tend to shed belly fat the easiest when I have small dinners - lots of vegetables. Sometimes I'll seriously have uncooked veggies for dinner a few nights a week.
