So right before this plague hit and we all got told to stay home I was starting to get some attraction with a girl at my office. We had gone out to lunch a few times and flirting was constant. I could tell she was into me as much as I was into her. Before things could advance the plague hit and we have been following stay home order since. Which means we never got to have a proper date. We started texting and she told me straight she liked me and would like to see where things went. As always in the beginning it was a lot of texting, sending a lot of pictures and talking but never could meet in person because of the lockdown. This has been going on for a few weeks and there is still no sign of the stay at home easing up. Lately she seems to be pulling away and not really texting much anymore or making an effort. I know normally that means i should do the same as well and stop making an effort. Is this the best way to go about it? Should i pull away as well and wait to see if she comes back? Or should i just lay it out that kind of behavior is unacceptable and move on if she doesnt commit?
Tough with the lockdown to do other stuff and try to see other girls since kind of stuck at home until the country opens up. |

If the two of you are going to continue to work together after stay at home orders ease up, then it's fine to back off. If the two of you are no longer going to be working together, then wait until the stay at home orders are lifted and hope that she may still be interested.
In no way would I advise you to put yourself in a position where the two of you can have a stay at home date at your place or hers. Although she may be yearning for human contact and a man that she's already attracted to will amplify her desire for him when he's in the same room with her. She would probably be willing to engage in any activity in any room of that home with a guy she is currently attracted. I wouldn't advise that because there is a pandemic and you have to make responsible decisions.

As Jack said, pull away and re-engage when the Pandemic dies down. It's likely to be a long while. You can't progress it, and she see's that to and by talking to each other you're talking yourself out of a future date.

Don't wait around, engage with other girls if you aren't already and focus on other activities. When restrictions ease a bit, check in to see where she's at.

Cut the texting! Texting should only be to set the date...even during the quarantine, I would have pushed to see her. If you're isolating and shes isolating then both are safe to mingle...
At this point shes bored of you and bored of texting.... you can either take her out ASAP or if she does n ot want to right now, you have to do "no contact"... stop messaging for 4-6 weeks, no liking her posts....just pretend she doesnt exist... if shes messages you to "small talk" like how are you or whatever... just be vague in your responses but dont ignore like some people suggest.
During this time, focus on yourself, work out, hang out with friends, you do you...
After 4-6 weeks, give her a call (Call her, dont text) and ask her out for a hike or whatever, something where you can do a lot of kino...touching etc.
I was in the exact same boat as you also with a coworker...froze her out for 6 weeks and finally going out with her again for the first timne in 2 months. If you need more info, just let me know.
