I wouldn’t say the dichotomy jack presented is 100% accurate.
For most men the mental is a part of attraction (though many won’t freely admit to it, and others completely oblivious to it). Rather the difference is more quantitative (less so qualitative). Women tend to place a stronger emphasis on the mental/psychological component of attraction. This is why some women can orgasm simply by stroking their emotional brain, while it’d be next to impossible for a guy to be experience the same.
The fantasy part he speaks of, you can frame another way as desire.
To feel desired (by a man of perceived value) is the lifeblood of a woman’s attraction. Yes, also doing kind acts and treating her with respect counts in helping build the stability and safety she needs to stay in her feminine (where she’s most easily aroused) which you as a result can bask in and reap the benefits of her intimacy and affection.

"The idea is that mutual vulnerability through desire and intimacy fosters closeness. By you finding her desirable, she is allowing herself to be vulnerable with you. " Wow, I am impressed Heywood! For a second there you sounded like a relationship therapist. Maybe I need some of my own, LOL
