So I'm thinking of coming up with an original style opener that deals with music/song lyrics and I guess I"m just curious if anyone has ever done any openers like this and wheather or not they've been successful. I have an original opener I want to try out but I want to do it in a way thats more exciting and gets them going. Also, if anyone has done openers like this before, I'd like to see your posts about them right here. Thanks

It would probably work at a karaoke, but maybe not while standing in line for the grocery store. Calibrate openers for your surroundings

Calibrate openers for your surroundings I would probably use it at a nightclub or bar and maybe even during daygame. Probably not at the grocery store though. Maybe during Karaoke. Actually, that doesn't sound like a bad idea the more I think about it

I understand what you're talking about and I believe it would work. I actually do something like this because I used to suck at talking dirty. What I would do is take the lyrics of a sexually explicit song and then twist them into my own words. I said I believe it would work because of that but not because of my experience in using them as an opener.
Here's what I would challenge you to do. Get a handful of song lyrics that you think would make a good opener, change the lyrics to fit your personality so that the message is still the same, and try it at least 100 times. Come back here and report on how it worked for you.

I actually have one song in mind but I will definitely look at all the others because I feel like that is the key to developing my own material. And seeing as how I"m a big music person, I know that this will succeed quite well. Maybe not every time but definitely lots of times for sure. Thanks again. I will let you know how it all progresses.

Trying something unique is cool. Openers tied to music or lyrics? It's a fresh twist. Remember, success depends on delivery and vibe, not just the opener itself. Make it exciting, but don't overdo it. And hey, while waiting for more experiences, why not share your original opener? Could be a game-changer for others wanting to try something new.
