my most recent online interaction was too long and the girl lost interest so this time I decided to try and go for a faster gear



**She had a photo of sitting in something that looked like a giant outdoor tent**
Me: That looks like an interesting place, is that some sort of tent?

Her: Yes it was some sort of tent with fire in the middle

I don’t know the name ...

Me: oh sounds fun! with marshmallows?

Her: Yes with marshmallows..

It was so fun!

Me: let's do it again! drive somewhere cold, find somewhere with a fireplace and roast marshmallows

Her: Sounds so fun I think it was somewhere in Banff

Me: hmmmm, Banff is beautiful in the winter time

I lived in Calgary before here and it was pretty nice

Her: Calgary .. I’ve never been there yet

What are you studying at your uni now ?

Me: funny you ask, I'm not studying there anymore

recently got my PhD, I'm now a Doctor:)

Her: Congratulations! Doctor
Me: So are you from Korea or were you born here?

Her: Because you mentioned yourself as a research assistant so that I thought you are a student in Master

Her: I’m from Korea

Me: oh I see

I'm headed to bed now to sleep

Her: Once you know my number, you automatically got a duty to text me at least 3times a day ..lol

Her: Good night


So after all that I texted her before going to bed:
Me: Hi HB, it's me
Let's talk more about Calgary tomorrow

Where should I go from here? I'm thinking of setting up a date this weekend, but I'm gonna have to amp up the BT a bit before... any advice?

Why a weekend date? Why not go for a Tuesday - Thursday? Weekend first dates are usually the worst.

1.  It doesn't look good for you to have Friday or Saturday open for her already.  It doesn't necessarily look bad, but there is some insight as to you have nothing better going on.
2.  Less pressure.  When you give a woman a weekend date, her expectations are higher because there is a formality to it so there is a natural need for her to feel impressed.  When you give her a weekday, there is often a more casual mood and her guard tends to be down more.
3.  Weekdays often give you a time constraint (school or work in the morning).  If she's into you she's going to end up wanting to use every moment of that time to the fullest.  You will also be able to use that time constraint to stop the date and leave it on a high note if you haven't and won't achieve your goal in the date and keeps her view of you from becoming stale.
4.  If she has other options, she'll end the date early if she thinks something may possibly be more enjoyable than what you have presented her.  If she has any notion that she should have gone with her other options, this will likely be your last date with her.  On a weekday/weeknight no one usually has plans, so you've automatically taken a mediocre night and made it better.
